Andover Baptist Church is a large, lively and diverse church of around 300 members.  Our ten year vision is to ‘Reach’ (growing beyond 500 members), ‘Renew’ (involved in the transformation of our local community) and ‘Resource’ (training and sending out people to do God’s work, resourcing other churches) by being ‘whole-life missionary disciples’ of Jesus. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable Associate Minister to work closely together with our Senior Minister to help make this vision a reality. See the full job description here.

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee our thriving small groups and our pastoral team
• Oversee the discipling of believers and the integration of newcomers
• Assist the Senior Minister in all aspects of ministry, including preaching and pastoral care
• Be a broadly evangelical Christian who is Bible based, Spirit led and mission focussed
• Be an experienced and proactive ‘leader of leaders’
• Have a proven track record of empowering and equipping teams and creating and implementing programmes
• Ideally be an accredited Baptist Minister
• Have good organisational skills

The stipend offered will reflect the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
