As we look to be a church that puts whole-life missionary disciple-making as a vision, a team has been put together to focus on overseas mission and another team to focus on local mission.
The overseas mission team has the name of Emit and is lead by Chloe Christine. They look to support, encourage and send people in to overseas mission, short-term mission, and training. We also keep supporting current missionaries that are out in the field at the moment and have special projects with the Baptist Missionary Society in India.
The local mission team is focusing on Andover itself and its neighbouring towns & villages to spread the Word of God and to be involved in a practical way also. This team is lead by Andy Fitchet. ABC currently supports and is involved in Andover Street Pastors, Andover Food Bank, Oak Bank Pregnancy Crisis Centre and many other Andover Churches Together initiatives.
