Emit is the cross-cultural mission focused team within ABC. We directly support Jim Harries serving through vulnerable mission in Kenya and Helen Stainsby working amongst the homeless and addicts in Poland. In 2012 David and Claire-Lise Judkins will start training with BMS as a move towards a church planting ministry in France. Emit also supports those training for ministry; David Judkins at Regents College (placement at ABC), Paul Cable and Fraser Henney studying at Moorlands College, however Paul can mostly be found on placement at St Pauls, Salisbury. ABC is committed in supporting these missionaries and people in training financially and through prayer support groups which are headed up by people within the church.
More recently Emit has taken the lead on developing a partnership with Big Life Ministries in India through BMS. In 2012 we will be sending our first church team to visit India to explore what this partnership means, learn from the Indian people and to find out how we can serve and encourage their ministry. We are excited to see how this ongoing partnership will develop by building strong relationships and serving in many different ways in the future.
