Inspirational Celebration – Incarnational Community – Intimate Communion
Life is best when shared together, and the different ways in which people at ABC grow in their faith can be described using the 3-legged stool analogy.
Inspirational Celebrations
- We grow when we gather for worship together on:
Sundays
- 09:15 Sunday morning for a traditional, reflective service
- 11:00am Sunday morning for a family-oriented, contemporary-style time of worship and teaching, with a crèche and children & youth work
- 6:30 Sunday evening programme: Growing In God:
Over the month we mix things up, on:
- - 1st Sunday in the month is At the King’s Table communion service
- - 2nd Sunday in the month is alternately Café Connect (Guest appearances and testimonies) or Energy (3:30pm Family service aimed at families with younger children)
- - 3rd Sunday is Growing in God: a training and discipleship opportunit
- - 4th Sunday is Passion: a service led by and for young people
- - 5the Sunday is Small Group Sunday, where our small groups meet together, share an activity, and help share the good news of Jesus with friends and neighbours.
Incarnational Community
We gather in Small Groups; this is an essential part of feeling that we belong and getting to form deeper relationships.
Intimate Communion
Finally, we need to all grow in our reading of God’s word, and times of prayer through intimate communion with Jesus on a regular basis.
